Preop FAILED to catch an extremely high WBC lab value so came in the day of surgery ready to go and was sent home from Surgeon bc of high wbc...surgery not performed. Yet was charged the 1288$ medicare deductible. TELL ME AGAIN THE PURPOSE OF PREOP?????
I came to Baylor Grapevine for an appendicitis. I cannot say enough great things about this hospital!! Literally every person I came into contact here was absolutely amazing!! Everyone in the ER (receptionist, triage, PA, nurses, etc) did a fantastic job and really made me feel comfortable and had me laughing!! I met with the surgeon while in the ER, Dr. Purgett (who was also amazing), and he had me in surgery within a couple hours. I had a double surgery and had to stay 2 nights. The staff was great and such great hospitality. I highly recommend this facility and Staff.
While the nurses are great for the most part, there is always some lag in the hospitals as they can't be everywhere. But I have seen them get mixed up more than once in my moms care. Not to mention the terrible food the cafe sells! Or that it closes at 230 everyday and doesn't open on the weekends so people who are stranded here either starve or get ripped off for $10 tray of food delivered that tastes disgusting!
My experience there was great. I have to give some shot outs here. RYAN the PA Micha and Cassidy the RN's , Emet from radiology and the girl from registration. What a team. They were AWESOME. I knew I was in good hands. If I ever have to go back I will be asking to be put with this 5 ***** team. Thank you for your knowledge, patience, and compassion and loving care you give your patients. Well. Done.
The surgical and radiology staff went above and beyond yesterday when I had my procedure done! Absolutely hands down the sweetest, most carrying, friendliest staff EVER!!
Everyone here has always been so very, very friendly & helpful. I have been here several times now. I am very impressed by the facility & especially the people who make me feel not only welcome but go out of their way to inform me of everything that is happening. I would truly recommend Baylor Trophy Club!
