I don't think it was an accident. Most likely it was positive karma that I have such a great psychiatrist. She is the greatest. I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Kaila Compton to receive ketamine therapy for my depression and anxiety about three years ago. Ever since, she has been a lot more than a doctor to me. Impossible to get ahold of, and their system for new patients is atrocious. It took almost 2 months to hear back from anyone. As psychiatric treatment is time-sensitive, do not waste your time here!

Disorganized office. They have a lengthy patient history form you must fill out before getting a callback, and after doing that work they never bothered to contact to say they aren’t accepting patients. It also seems like they are perhaps using an AI system to answer calls.

I just got done with the tms treatment there. It was WAY better than the tms treatment at the walnut creek mindful health solutions I got. The people were very warm and friendly. Ivy was really awesome and she was very understanding of my tourettes unlike the walnut creek place. As for the treatment itself, it didn't work too well for my OCD but it did help calm my tics somewhat. Dr. Shoun was awesome too. He made sure that I was feeling good about the treatment.

I agree with other comments that It’s very hard to become their patients. However, you will receive the extremely well psychiatric treatments once you are in. I’ve seen several psychiatrists before I came to Bay Psychiatric, and I’ve been taken really good care by them for the past 3 years. I was under the care of Dr.John Cruz mostly, but also worked with couple other psychiatrists for ketamine treatments. They are the very first psychiatrists I met that spend time talking with their patients and ask questions, instead of qu... read more
