My husband and I both are patients of Dr. Melillo. Between the two of us we have had 7 surgical procedures as well as other medical procedures. We recently moved away from the Houston area, but still travel the distance to keep him as our physician. Dr. Melillo is thorough with his exams, he takes the time to sit and listen. Dr. Melillo has done bilateral Copeland procedures on both my shoulders and replaced my left knee. I moved to AK for 2 years, now am back and will be re-establishing my doctor-patient relationship. He is an excellent surgeon. His staff is personable and a pleasure to be with. When a surgeon comes recommended by your physician because he cared for her husband? How much of a no-brainer is this?
Dr Melillo just completed a total hip replacement on my father in law and he was amazing, very caring and professional. His staff is top notch we have felt very well taken care of. The Houston Physicians Hospital was also outstanding!

Dr Melillo has performed 11 surgeries (so far) for our family - including a reconstructive shoulder surgery for me, and there has yet to be a single complaint from any of us. Amazing surgeon, and awesome person!
