We called Bay Hydronic when our furnace malfunctioned and received very prompt and professional help even though we weren't a prior customer. Alex explained the options and cost clearly, was great about scheduling, showed up at the appointed time and did the work very efficiently. We also discussed expanding the system to include the hot water system which we may do sometime in the future.
Soon after my husband passed away, our 25-year old radiant heating system died too. Local resources - if they even came to look at the system - were very negative about any type of fix or repair, due to the aged system and technology. $40K system not installed per manufactures' specs/failed – Having to sue him to get him to be responsible for a blatant mistake in installing a high tech boiler that he didn't know how to install. It failed and he slow walked coming to look at it then refused to cover the costs of the installation I had to pay for in order to provide heat and hot water to my tenants in a timely fashion. Use another company...very argumentative and lack integrity.
Bay Hydronic responds – Bay Hydronic was in fact responsive to both these complaints. We are members of the BBB and would be happy to have them arbitrate if we could get a response from those involved. So far no luck. If anyone would like more information, please call us at 800-927-6377.
Do yourself a favor and use someone else – Hired these guys to install radiant in a 3000 sq foot remodel. While they appeared to know what they were doing, I have since had nothing but problems. They have refused to honor their warranty, and I have since had other radiant installers out to look at my new $30K junk system and tell me all that is wrong with it. Do your research, call some customers. Don't use these guys.
