I brought my kitty Pagliaccio here last night, thinking he just had a simple stomach bug. It turned out he had a severe urinary block and sadly had to be put down. I cannot thank the staff of VCA for being so kind and helpful. I am still in complete shock that my baby is gone, but I was treated with so much respect by every member of the staff that I encountered including the doctor. These things are never easy, and I felt completely at ease with this practice.

Today was the hardest day as my grandma and I made the difficult decision to euthanize our two baby cats due to them testing positive pan-leukopenia. Everybody from the receptionists, to the vet techs, to the veterinarians have been so kind and I send you guys my gratitude ❤️ thank you guys for being so amazing.

The only thing they care is MONEY, not about your pets at all. If you really want to save your pets life, go to another animal hospital. Here is my story : My cat seemed sick (he could walk and meow), i brought him there noonish yesterday and i was told that my cat couldn't pee. They asked me to sign the paper to paid $600 immediately or take my cat home!?! (And of course was told " just let you know it would be more than $600, plus you need to pay for the visit fee $110). ...Continue Reading

A quick diagnosis by the doctor had us out of there in a few hours. My first time there was great. The staff was attentive and sincere regarding my cat.

I think VCA San Leandro is superb. They are so nice and very caring. They are so focused on just you and your pet like you were the only one there. Doctors and techs and nurses are awesome!!!! I will always choose here where they care!!
