I got my tattoo done by Nick today. He took very good care of me and made sure I was comfortable. He did a great job on my tattoo!
Don’t trust them to give you what you want. I have never gotten a tattoo with color before. I told Nick exactly what I wanted and couldn’t tell how the color overpowered the black letters. My tattoo was too inflamed at that time to notice. Once I got home and washed it I was able to tell that one letter was a perfect color and the rest were half as black as I wanted them. I emailed him the next day and since there was nothing wrong with it and I wanted to “ADD” something that it would be $75 more dollars.
I got a cover up tattoo done by Will Bledsoe back in 2016-2017, and he was incredibly helpful in providing as much information on what would and wouldn't work. He was forthcoming and very upfront with what would be the best options and I'm glad I followed his input. He utilized colors that we're in my old tattoo to make it easier and less traumatizing to my skin and to make it even easier to cover up in lieu of using dark colors and packing it in. Nick was my artist for my walk-in and he did a great job! The place was really nice and everyone was very friendly. I would definitely go there again!!
Absolutely love this team! I did some research when I was starting my sleeve & LOVED the work that Will did. He draws onsite right before he starts & is really honest about how color & placement will reflect on the customer. I really appreciate that. Next next arm soon! Only place I go to. Love this place!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve wanted an American Flag tattoo. I’ve been into many shops and have spoken to a wide array of artists, where I was usually met with dismissal or condescension. However, when I walked into Battleground Tattoo, they were incredibly hospitable, knowledgeable, and willing to answer all questions. From the start, I felt welcome and right at home. Paul Ratliff has done two tattoos for me and the quality of his work is uncanny. I would recommend Battleground to anyone. Thank y’all! Donovan
