best dr. ever! I think the people writting the negative reviews are hoaxes because Dr. Bates is an amazing doctor and goes above and beyond her duties to show that she cares. If I were in her office and heard a patient say such horrible things about her I'd be the first to kick them out for her. She doesn't deserve the rude patients!

Unprofessional I had to wait a month for a new patient appointment. When I got there, I was only allowed to see the PA. Even that took a month to schedule an appointment! Blood work was ordered. I asked the PA a few times if they are going to call me when the results come back because I need a refill on my meds. She was like yes we will call you. Great Dr and Friend I love Dr Bates! And, I love the PA's as well. I have never been mistreated at this office. In fact, I consider these folks a part of my family. I was one of Dr Bates first patients when she first opened her office across from Medical Center Plano. In 2000 Dr Bates walked with me, through blood clots, both in the legs and the lung. Not worth the drive anymore... Trying to see Dr.Bates these days is like trying to hit the lottery which really is not worth it anymore.I have seen her a few times and would say she is your average doc.But trying to see her is the problem.The past 3 times I have tried to see her the staff would say she is either sick(although I see her in the office), she had an emergency, or she is just to backed up to see me.And then they offer you the nurse practioner instead.Not sure if this is a racial issue or maybe she has priority pa... read more
BEST PHYSICIAN IN DALLAS Dr. Bates is the ***best*** primary care physician I've ever been to. I've seen her for the last six years and she's awesome. She is thorough, informed, and isn't afraid to be completely honest. We've been through various illnesses, operations and possible cancer, but she's always been professional and knowledgable. She is great with my daughter, my husband and me. I wouldn't see any other doctor and I've seen my share in the Dallas area.
Dr. Bates is fabulous! I've seen Dr. Bates for several years and she's fabulous. She is extremely thorough and very helpful with anything I need. I like her so much that I've been urging my husband to change from his doctor to Dr. Bates. He's finally doing it! I feel much better (his original doctor completely missed a tumor the size of a grapefruit in his chest - OOPS!!!)
