Find a different doctor! A recent new patient visit to Dr Bates office compelled me to write this review. After reading a couple positive reviews here I scheduled with Dr Bates. But now I wonder if they are legitimate reviews. After waiting an extended time to get into see Dr Bates as a new patient, I was so disappointed to find her office staff extremely rude. Outstanding Internal Physician Dr. Bates is a very thorough and outstanding Internal Medical Physician. She listens to your problems and uses vast experience to diagnose you. She follows up very well and her office staff is very helpful, friendly and thorough, too. PROS: Thorough CONS: None I can think of
Best Doctor around - bar none! I'm not sure that S.M. went to the right Dr. Bates, if that's the experience she had. I've been going to Dr. Bates for over a yr - and haven't any problems at all - and thoroughly enjoy her staff & her. Since I have to schedule a late day appt, they often run late, but that's to be expected since they take in the current patients if they call in with a cold or flu & try to see them the same day. I wish that I had asked for my check to be refunded from Dr. Bates! I had been advised to that Dr. Bates was a wonderful Doctor and decided to make an appointment with her about my digestive matters!I found that her staff was certainly polite and decent.However, I did not like dealing with the Doctor and had a very difficult time expressing to her about how very ill I truly was at this time! HORRIBLE office staff I was treated disrepectfully by the receptionist and office manager. I chose to leave rather than dealing with these 2 women again. I cannot say whether the doctor is good or not, but she should be aware of issues with her staff.
Rosemary A Bates Pa is WONDERFUL!!! For years I had stomach pain in my lower left abdomen. It would be bad in the morning; to the point I wanted to vomit. Several doctors had looked me over and had helped me, but they were treating the symptoms, not the root cause. Great Doctor but Please keep it a secret !! Ok Dr. Bates has been my doctor for over 5 years. She is a great diagnostician. She has helped me when other doctors failed to come up with answers. She is extremely detailed in every way from patient and family history to prognosis. I have referd her to my parents and wife which love her. These bad reviews are misleading probably written by hypocontratics and other head cases. Ask anyone in Medicine and they will tell you they get crazy patients every now and then. Dr. Rosemary Bates and Staff Dr. Bates is the best doctor. She is thorough and compassionate. Our family has been patients of Dr. Bates since she started her practice. She saved my husband from cancer with an early diagnosis. I cannot praise her, her office staff or nurses enough.
Very unhappy with this doctor as a PCP The office management is rude, rigid, and strigent especially when dealing with HMOs. They have the attitude, they aren't really willing to work with you much even if your insurance is wrong and don't have them as the PCP by accident.
