Bates Nut Farm started with walnuts, but now purchases nuts from all over the world. Pistachios, pecans, cashews, peanuts, pignolias, sunflower seeds and much more can be purchased on the farm. The nuts come raw, roasted, some spiced up and unsalted. To ensure quality and freshness we roast and package our nuts on the farm. The Bates family takes pride in providing a quality product at a fair price. It's part of the tradition.

Beautiful area in Valley Center! Fun for kids to see farm animals and feed them. Nice picnic area to enjoy outdoor lunch. Very peaceful at this time of year!

This is an awesome place to visit with family. It's extremely family oriented and a great experience over all. The kids loved the wide variety of homemade treats and candy inside of the store. My wife loved all of the handmade decorations and home decor. I loved the genuine and friendly staff. My family and I felt welcomed and treated like family during our visit. My family and I will be making this an annual tradition every October.
we have been there many times either on a motorcycle fun or just to meet up with others since bikers come from all over. if is a good stop go drink eat again before starting the next leg of the journey.
