Bates Nut Farm started with walnuts, but now purchases nuts from all over the world. Pistachios, pecans, cashews, peanuts, pignolias, sunflower seeds and much more can be purchased on the farm. The nuts come raw, roasted, some spiced up and unsalted. To ensure quality and freshness we roast and package our nuts on the farm. The Bates family takes pride in providing a quality product at a fair price. It's part of the tradition.

It was nice. But there were hardly any stands today. They only had stands in the kids area that’s pretty much it
Always a great family outing. The only downside is the backup of traffic. I REALLY wish they had a team of some kind. The traffic was THE WORST this year. It took 32 minutes to go .9 miles.
I went to their pumpkin patch and it was the best I've ever been to! Beautiful drive to get there too, lots of horses and pretty scenery.
The hay ride is a joke. You pay $2.50 each to go in a square to look at dead flowers and the parking lot. Save your money.
Great place for a family outing, not too expensive for families- great time!

Bates nut farm has been a family tradition for decades! I’m sad there is a parking fee, but still a great place for families to celebrate the harvest season!
Great for family and a date ♡
Hands down, the best pumpkin patch in San Diego! So much stuff to do and lots of food choices. Really big so make sure you are prepared to make a day of it. The only downfall is a lot of traffic.
