Bates Nut Farm started with walnuts, but now purchases nuts from all over the world. Pistachios, pecans, cashews, peanuts, pignolias, sunflower seeds and much more can be purchased on the farm. The nuts come raw, roasted, some spiced up and unsalted. To ensure quality and freshness we roast and package our nuts on the farm. The Bates family takes pride in providing a quality product at a fair price. It's part of the tradition.

Nice store, Only problem is, there is only 1 store. I would think all that land would make for more stores and eateries
We do the Relay for Life at Bates every year and have a great time supporting The American Cancer Society. We also go and pick pumpkins in the fall and love walking through the pumpkin patches.
It nice in place for my kids and they say love it and fun and cute of pictures too
I love Bates for a fun excursion for the kids and their amazing community events - Christmas in the Valley is my favorite!
I love this place however I think it's best to go on a week day Even though some of the attractions are not available however having less people there make up for it! This is a very popular attraction and everybody really likes to go during the weekend especially in October when they have the pumpkin's ,I love the Candy/condiment store I think I've been going to the nut farm now for at least 20 and now have started takeing my kids so I guess it's kind of a tradition in my family !
Great place for pumpkin season family friendly activities my toddler loves it
I've always loved going there at Halloween time but that new parking fee is outrageous will not be returning until there's no longer a fee there's plenty of other pumpkin places to go with no parking fee
Fun place for the family to play in the pumpkin patch, eat some yummy food, look around at the cutesy shops, etc. Only $5 for parking - no where else to park, must pay the $5 to park! — with Cindy Walker-Havlik and Garrett Jones.
Worth The Drive! Plenty of parking. Lots of food venders and activities. Affordable. Friendly workers. AWESOME General Store. Wide open spaces for wandering AND photo ops.
