Thank you so much Dr. Bates and team at Bates animal hospital! They did a fantastic job spaying my German Shepherd. Calypso (my shepherd) isn't very friendly with new people and they were so respectful of her space. They listened to all of her signals and tried to make her as comfortable and fear free as possible. As a professional positive reinforcement dog trainer myself I genuinely respect and appreciate that! I live an hour away but I definitely will be back! Thanks again!
Seriously the best vet I've ever had. He cares, listens, and he remembers. He knows my cats without needing to look at their charts and has always gone above and beyond for them.
Our Ollie, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, has been Dr Bates since we got him5yrs ago. Ollie has received excellent care. Dr. Bates always takes time to answer my questions with explanations I understand. Dr. Bates always returns my calls. Once I was in Wash DC my sisters dog had an eye infection that called for removal of the dogs eye. He returned my call after hours to discuss the surgery and the effect on Leias life. Dr. Bates is awesome!! He took great care of my Lab, Junior, by removing a cancerous tumor from Junior's leg. Dr. Bates is full of compassion for both the animal and the owner. I truly recommend Dr. Bates for the care of your pet.
Dr. Bates is an incredible and caring vet. He has helped treat my diabetic old kitty without shots so far and she is doing beautifully on pills and special food he ordered for her. I believe strongly in his approach to healing. He's also a very nice guy.
