RecommendedI have brought my dogs there for 10+ years. They have genuine concern and care for my pets and make sure they explain everything so that it is easy to understand. Have always been able to get in when needed urgently. And treat us like family for our normal scheduled visits. Love these people.
This team has been God sent to our 3 babies. Just yesterday took one in with a bad back 2 hour after her first round of meds she was back to her happy self. Will never take our babies any where else trust these doctors and everyone is so caring. Thank you Bastrop Veterinary Hospital y'all are the BEST!!!
I came home from work to find one of our dogs in urgent need of seeing a vet. I called BVH and they agreed to work us in. When we arrived it was obvious they were very busy. In spite of that, we didn't wait long before Katie came to check on us. They took our dog back less than an hour from the time I first called. Have nothing but good things to say about them our first encounter was when our male cat had stones in his urethra. They saved his life! Now they see our three doggies three cats and our ferret.
Dr. Koch and the technicians were excellent with my little rat terrier mix, Pita. Front desk staff is great! We really appreciated their care and that they followed up with phone calls to check her progress. Thank you!
Had to take my kitty in and turns out he had a bladder infection. From the time I made the appointment to the time we left everything was great! I got our appointment for the day after I called - I showed up about 10 minutes early to complete paperwork and was in the exam room at our appointment time. The tech, Katie S was awesome and loved on Churro and made us both feel comfortable. The doctor came in and talked about what could be wrong and gave options. She was equally awesome. I rescued the sweetest Redbone Coonhound ever. He wasn't mistreated but basically his whole life up until 2 years ago was spent in Suburbia with frequent visits to doggie day care to get his exercise. I live on a 100 plus acre ranch and once he started to utilize his nose he discovered how wonderful the country smells! The only problem is our sweet hound dog also doesn't realize he can't put sticks,roots or bones in his mouth because they get stuck on the roof of his mouth.
