Just bought our first home in the city and twice we have eaten here already. Both times it's been delicious. Best burger I've ever had and the beer battered fries are amazing too. Service is great too. We will be visiting often!

I became violently ill five hours after eating a late dinner at this place. Since the only other thing I had to eat all day was a bagel for breakfast, I can only assume that I contracted food poisoning from the burger that I had at Basement Burger Bar for dinner. I made a couple attempts to contact the owner but he never got back to me. It's unfortunate that the owner doesn't care that I spent over 48 hours in bed with severe cramps and other gross symptoms, of which I will spare you the details of.
