Such a cute place! Definitely up to date features and such cute details that someone clearly put a lot of thought into!
Awesome, basic, clean, super comfortable beds, in the perfect location, and great for groups. We had a room with 2 queen beds, each with a twin bunk above it. Our group of rock climbers were so thankful to get recommendations at check-in for a stellar bouldering area close by. Breakfast is better than average, but basic, and coffee and happy hour beer was excellent. No extra frills or luxuries but we didn't need them. Great service, and we liked the hotel t-shirts so much my husband and daughter each got one.

Basecamp is fantastic! Staff is friendly, accommodations are comfortable and the breakfast is yummy! Had a great stay there last week and couldn't have been happier with our choice of places to stay. The guests were of all ages and the young staff was very professional and energetic. With such a short walk to the base of the Heavenly Gondola we cannot wait to come back during ski season. Just left this amazingly beautiful little unique hotel. Perfect location for South Lake Tahoe. The rooms and hotel in General were fantastic as were the staff. So glad we extended our stay here. The decor was completely right for us!
This place is awesome! You have a charming, modern, clean room with the best happy hour/bar deals in all of Tahoe found in the lobby, a tasty simple continental breakfast, a hot tub, and a stone's throw distance from all the casinos across the street, for the price of one of those creepy motels in the same area that you wouldn't dare run a blacklight through! Great place right in the middle of everything. Love the decor, the staff is very friendly and the rates are reasonable. Can't wait to go back and book a family suite.
