The staff and experience was wonderful for our large family.
Excellent service, food and beer selection. The atmosphere is entertaining, yet relaxed. I like the seating, the fireplace and fire pits, the big screen tv and especially the great music. Tahoe visitors and locals last night were dancing and singing along, and families - young and old were relaxing après ski. You can go inside where it's warm or hang out in the patio area and roast marshmallows. Just a cool place. Aesthetics receive high marks, ambiance is wonderfully modern-rustic outdoors. They're pouring a fair selection of beers from California, but I'm most excited about the upcoming addition of a brewery on premise. 2 barrel and unabashedly small batch, the Desolation Brewing Company will specialize in sour, barrel aged beer. As flagships, they're anticipating a variety of styles from IPA, cream ale, Porter and others. Looking forward to that!
