Everyone was nice but they need to do something about the extremely long wait time. It's like they are triple overbooking the time slots$. Actual time with the dr. was no more than 15 minutes.
I agree with what Mr. Karroum wrote. The eyeglass office is NOT a part of Bascom Palmer. They just rent space there. They are awful.
It's world renowned for dealing with eye problems of all kinds. Take a snack, a sweater, wear shoes not sandals (it's really cold) and be prepared to wait between tests but it absolutely has the best doctors and staff.
Yes it takes a while to make it thru all the different depts but they tell you all of this when you make appt. I had four spots and never waited long between each. And every person I came into contact there was accommodating and made a point to make conversation. I felt my Doctor, Dr Kirshor, is genuinely interested in what he is doing. He is engaging and listened. He also gave a good explanation of why we are taking our particular course of action. And it's a nice facility if you do have to hang out. Parking is easy too.
Literally the best place and experience ever. My sister and I both had lasik (me yesterday and her two weeks ago) Dr. O'brien, Claudia and the rest of their crew are the BEST and made everything go smoothly. We will never go anywhere else for our eye needs. Thanks so much!!!
