Amazing surgeon! I may not be here today or not be the same person I am today if it were not for this man and the incredible endovascular surgery technology available at UPMC Harrisburg. I suffered a stroke from a carotid artery dissection. It was a very scary time and I did not know if I would survive. I put my trust and confidence in Dr. Thaci and so glad I did and so grateful for his care. This trip was an emergency for me, i had no idea i would end up having surgery this visit. I was transported to Harrisburg from Osteopathic to MSicu , where i stayed until taken for surgery, the staff is wonderful, dr Peoples( most compassionate individual to teach you) the attending Kartikeya, and dr Bart Thaci (endo vascular surgeon )is an amazing team !
