I had the most unprofessional and rude experience when I called Dr. Barros Jorge’s office. I called to make an appointment as a new patient and they rudely expressed me to that the Doctor does not DO second opinions and that I need to go back to the original pulmonologist I have and that u cannot change because I don’t like the current one I have. I never recommend anyone to go to that office unless you want to be treated rudely and disrespectful.
Didn’t even get the chance to step into this office because the front desk staff is so snooty and rude. I was coming in for an initial appointment (they are likely going to send me for tests after this) and they were immediately asking for over $250 just for that appointment. The insurance we have is $40 to see a specialist. If I was actually having the test done that day and it went toward that, fine, but for an initial appointment it seemed outlandish. Dr. Barros' staff is obnoxious! They are insensitive, rude and aggressive! Very bad look for a doctor's office staff!!!
This was my first time going to the office today, I met with Jose the PA he was informative, caring, gave me options on my treatment, I didn't have to wait very long to be seen. I had a very good experience.
