I cannot say enough about Dr. Woods!! I am 3 weeks post op of spinal laminectomy fusion surgery and I am walking 3 miles a day. Prior to surgery I had severe scoliosis, 3 herniated discs, spinal stenosis and sciatica. By the time I saw Dr. Woods I had trouble walking due to being in so much pain. He told me he could fix it and by by the following week I was having surgery. As I lay in the hospital ,in pain he came in & said "I promise you...It will get better". Dr. Woods was true to his word!
I am a healthcare worker and I would highly recommend Dr. Woods for any spinal issues you may have. His bedside manner in excellent and he is an excellent surgeon!
I was being treated by a well known surgeon in Arizona, but Dr. Woods diagnosed a back problem that the other surgeon had not detected. He performed surgery on me about a month ago, and now I am beginning to feel like a “new man”. I would be happy to refer anyone to him, or to the team at Rothman . This includes the Atlanticare system as well.
My experience with Dr. Woods was wonderful. He was very thorough in explaining my condition and the procedure required to correct it. Dr. Woods took time with me to explain my condition and review my x-rays as well as answer any questions my husband or I needed addressed. He is a very caring and loving doctor, showing sincere concern for his patient. I was very scared to have this procedure done, but Dr. Woods assured me I would be fine and I was. Kathy DiBiase

I am currently seeing Dr. Woods and will continue to receive his care as needed. He is not only very compassionate but extremely knowledgeable about his work. He spends all the time I need to answer questions and has provided me with the best course of action. I cant imagine seeing anyone else for treatment under his expertise.
Dr. Woods demonstrates a very caring enthusiasm that gives a patient the confidence needed to feel comfortable and trusting. He also removes the barriers that typically arise when a physician explains the symptoms of a condition and treatment considerations. I felt totally comfortable with his positive approach and patience in not only explaining what he saw in my X-Ray and MRI studies, as he helped me see the areas in the studies needing treatment.
My initial entries disappeared. I can try to re-create the remarks here. Dr. Woods displayed a pleasant personality and created an atmosphere of confidence at out first meeting. He listened and answered questions and concerns without hesitation. On day of surgery, he introduced his team and allowed each to talk with me to allay my fears. Follow up appointments were pleasant and easy to discuss issues. I would have no hesitation to go to him for future surgeries should they be necessary.
Friendly an easy to talk to. Did a great job on my back. I was up an walking 4 hrs. After surgery.
