Great Doctor. I’m 8 weeks post op. Minimally invasive lumbar lamenectomy and fusion. He talks to you in a calm tone. He knows his job and is GOOD at it. When he saw my MRI he immediately said you need an operation now! It was bad. Prior to my surgery we sat down and he explained everything. I needed time to think about it. He gave me his cell phone number! I had a question between Xmas and New Year. Called him and he returned my call on vacation, out of the country! Outstanding!! Great team!
Dr. Woods is great and I Highly recommend him to anyone. From the day I could barely walk into his office with severe lower back pain to the day I walked in with no pain to my post op appointment. My wife and I are grateful that we found Dr. woods and his great team.

At the age of 53, I woke up with unexpected and excruciating pain piercing down my legs. I visited Inspira Urgent Care and my PCP and after 5 weeks of torture. My Pastor recommended Dr. Woods. Dr. Woods got me from initial appointment to getting an MRI and surgery in about a week. Dr. Woods is compassionate, knowledgeable and explains every step of the surgery. After surgery, Dr. Woods was available on his cell to answer my question. I am so grateful to Dr. Woods for his amazing work.

October of 2017 Dr. Woods performed a procedure called Minimally Invasive Lumbar Laminectomy and Fusion. I had 3 problems in my lumbar spine, compression of the nerve roots, cyst and abnormal motion of the spine.The thought of an operation at the age of 73, on my back was terrifying. I had many questions and concerns. DR. woods was thorough explaining the procedure.His capacity for endurance is greatly appreciated. It has been four months my pain is minimum, He is #1 Doctor an excellent surgeon
I can not stress how incredible Dr. Woods treated me. When I was suddenly and unexpectedly in excruciating pain, Dr. Woods got me from initial appointment to surgery in 4 days. He saw me in pain, listened to me and was empathetic and compassionate to my situation. After surgery, he was available on his cell to answer my questions and walk me through what I needed to do and what was normal. Dr. Woods is an all-star all around.
There are not enough good words to describe Dr. Woods! Barrett is a highly skilled surgeon with a mannerism that makes him feel like family!! I totally credit Barrett with saving my life, providing me the encouragement to fight & for a return to health. I had given up hope, pray for God to take me. 4 days later I could move my hands and stand up, 100% change before neck fusion. God Blessed Barrett with a gift, and I am thankful. A true gentle Gentleman! Dr. Woods is always welcome in my home!
I initially had my reservations when Dr. Woods said, "You need surgery and you need it now!" I was in tremendous pain. Every step was excruciating. I had been in minor bearable pain for years, but had spent the past 6 mos. in bed. He performed a lumbar laminectomy and fusion. In less than 10 days I was in and out of the hospital, no longer in pain, and well on my way to total recovery. I'm so grateful to have my life back, and I have Dr. Woods and the gift that he's been given to thank for that
