Dr. Woods eased my fear of having back surgery with the way he presented my disc problem and the surgery I needed. He spent a lot of time with us reviewing my studies via the computer monitor and answered our questions in a manner that we could easily understand. His bedside manner is excellent. I have already recommeneded Dr. Woods to several of my friends who are living with back pain.
Dr. Woods is amazing. My husband had his cell phone and I called him 7:00 AM one morning in severe pain crying, I was not his patient at this time. Dr. Woods calmed me down wrote me a prescription and one week later operated on me. 6 weeks later I am walking 3 miles a day and more importantly I am PAIN FREE! He is the best and I will be forever grateful to him. If you have back pain call Dr. Woods.
As I have already recommended him privy to this review, I will continue to do so! I saw Dr.Woods as a last resort of treatment, and if werent for him and Gabrielle, I would not be walking. He gave me my life back. He performed my discectomy, while we ran into some bumps, he took amazing care with my mental and physical state. Prior to, he gave comprehensive information with step by step of surgery and recovery. Looking for a orthopedic surgeon, look no further.
Dr Woods is so caring and compassionate, and really listens to what you have to say with out rushing you. When he speaks to you he really puts you at ease, and he made my anxiety go away. I would recommend him to anyone he is Top Doc in my book!
Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Woods! I suffered with back and sciatic pain for a year until I finally decided to have a microdiscectomy by this doctor. Best decision I could have made. Bedside manner is top notch and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of surgery.
Dr Barrett was wonderful made us aware of all steps and even gave us his cell phone never had that before . Professional, confident and down to earth. Would recommend him above all for any spinal surgery.
Dr. Woods was very thorough, he explained everything that he was going to do. I did not have any pain in my lower back or legs. He has great bedside manner, and a very good dresser. He is awesome and I have already recommended him to 2 friends and they are scheduled for surgery soon. He is highly approved.
Touched by an angel! I've been dealing with multiple spinal issues for 12 years, with a previous failed surgery from 2010 under my belt. Dr Woods was my last hope to repair my fractured spine. I am 6 weeks out with a spinal fusion to my L5 area with Dr Woods. One new wire spacer, plate and screws......I feel amazing in comparison to before. Dr Woods and his team were/are extremely professional and compassionate. I wish I found him years ago. I've already recommend a friend to him. Thank you.
Dr Woods performed a Laminectomy with Level 1 fusion. Dr Woods explained procedure entirely and answered all questions. Was out of bed and walking within 24hrs; with minor pain; felt like bad backache Two weeks post op back feels stiff, which was and is expected; but no major pain. Dr Woods is great surgeon and even better man. His bedside manner and empathy have no equal.
