Awesome place! Great views: Football on every TV (including PSU all the way on the west coast), oceanfront, and gorgeous server. Oh, and the food was great! Can't beat it!
I was in the LA/Beverly Hills area for an overnight and walked into this Beanery place. It was game seven of the World Series, Cubs vs Indians, and the place was jam-packed with Cub Fans! The bar staff was unbelievably professional, competent, and all had great attitudes. The fans went crazy, the beer was being poured and the fans/patrons were all having a blast. We eat here several times a year and have never had a bad experience. The food has always been good and the service great. Yesterday I wanted to purchase a salad plate which is not normally for sale. Our server went and spoke to the manager who went in storage and brought us a brand new plate wrapped up. Wonderful that they accommodated me for a purchase like this. I work for a tour company and always recommend people here.
I've been coming to Barneys since 92. I moved to LA then from Australia and I just had to go and eat where Slash and Axl Rose would hang out. I live in Oz now but went for a milkshake last week. It hasn't changed a bit and I hope it never does. It's an LA sacred spot with so much history, I hope it's heritage listed. If not it should be. See you in April . It's always a great time at Barneys. I bring teenagers here all the time, they love it. After hours there is a constant buzz of activity in a laid back atmosphere. The food is good, not amazing, but that's not why you come here. This is classic, fun LA and should not be missed! Fun and friendly staff, great neighborhood bar!

Love the service and the food! A "must do" every time we are in LA! It definitely does not disappoint!
Had a good time. Margherita (sp) pizza was excellent. Pastrami would have been great but not enough meat on the sandwich. All in all a very enjoyable evening. Lots of stuff to look at. ....fun.
