My stay was short, but incredible care by some of the nicest, caring people I have met... from housekeeping, to the PCT, to the RN's to the doctors... seriously so good. Thank you for taking such good care from one BJC nurse to these fine folks who gave care to me... �

Wow -- the staff here was great for my husband's knee replacement surgery. The pre-op and surgical people, Beckie and Alison, were great! Everyone on the floor: Joanne, Ping, Beth in OT and Colleen & Elissa in PT -- were awesome. So friendly, so helpful. I'd definitely recommend Barnes-Jewish West for any surgery.
As if right now i can only like it. Havent been an inpatient yet. But so far what i've had done test wise & to see the dr, i am very pleased.

My daughter and I arrived at 2 pm for a MRI directed by a BJC doctor. Sat in general waiting room until 5:30. Then moved to an ER room and waited another 3 hours only to have the technician come and start preparing for a CT scan. When told it was suppose to be an MRI he left and we waited another hour. After inquiring a nurse on when the MRI was scheduled she sent someone to check on it. It's now 9 pm and a technician comes in with the MRI prep. One hour later at 10 pm she is taken for the MRI. The Drs. /Specialist are always upbeat and have smiles on their faces even being around some very ill people ! It's amazing how a Smile can make a bad day go better !!!
