Absolutely Fabulous (pun intended) – This is one of the most fun places to go and dine. The people that work there are of the highest caliber. The food is fantastic!! I highly recommend the turkey burger and get their salsa on the side to add a little kick to your sandwich! It is a fun, bright and cheery environment! This is a great alternative to all the boring mundane deli's in Downtown Houston!
Not Quite the Same – Same menu as the original but the new decor kind of makes it seem like they want to go upscale. Ample portions for the hearty diner. The hard floor interior makes the experience seem like we went into a Panera.
YUM YUM – I am a big guy and love good food, even better when you get full with a meal. They have big portions and have never had anything here that was bad. Gets crowded but have always been lucky getting a table just before the crowd gets there. Have taken friends and everyone loves it and makes it a regular place to eat out.
Was that a little ginger? – Consistently good, a lovely little spot near my home & work & close to my friend's downtown. Can you go wrong with the meatloaf, and is that ginger in the sauce? Great service, great mix of yuppies, 'hood denizens, single fathers 'n' kids, & just about anyone else who lives in the loop & loves good food.
hungry for great salads or burgers? – Been dining here for over 4 years. Barnaby's exhibits 2 crucial elements to a successful restaurant: consistency and fresh ingredients. The portions are large and it's rare that you leave the place wanting more. The salads are excellent (esp Chinese chicken salad).
Great Value – Barnaby's has three locations...all are busy...all are great when you need affordable quality food served up effciently in a friendly atmosphere. My favorites are the morning breakfast specials, hamburgers, and the Chinese chicken salad. You might want to avoid the pork ribs which are way too salty. Top it off with some key lime pie or a big cookie and you'll leave very happy.
YUMS to the GUMS! – The best restaurant EVER! We love this place! The staff is sensational and they know everyone by name. And the food is the best in town. What more could you ask for?
Great & Inexpensive! – Quick, great food and inexpensive. Two locations inside the loop!!!
Delish Fries, Delish burgers, and Delish Ribs. Why go to McDonald's??? 414 West Gray location
