The menu is seasonal and the chefs experiment a lot with it. Beers and wine is served here which perfectly compliments the food. The decor is quite modern with stone textured walls and wooden tables which are arranged neatly. A truly unique experience.

Impeccable, attentive service! An awesome restaurant to dine in Austin!
Fabulous!
Good food but seemed as if they tried too hard to make things pair together. Plus, if it says lentils or some other small flageolet in your menu description, perhaps it should have more than just a couple. I still had a great time after two bottles of wine and 7 to 8 courses.
You've ruined me forever...now I don't want to eat anywhere else. ;) Beautiful food presentation in hearty earthenware grounds the soul taking us to a familiar place of comfort as our palette is awakened to a depth of complementary flavors within each ingredient. Barley Swine is on our list for monthly visits. Bring your palette passport, sit back, relax and let the laid back, warm hearted, knowledgable staff take care of everything.
Incredible dining experience. Each dish served in an informative fashion from extremely knowledgable and passionate staff. Finesse cooking, wonderful presentation and attention to detail using the finest ingredients. Thirteen courses, eleven Savoury and two Sweet dishes are served in total. A drinks package is optional. You can find plenty of places to eat. Much less common is a restaurant that offers an incredible experience. Barley Swine is one of those much less common.
Good food, nice beverage list, not real filling, not cheap.
