We started serving local pet care needs at Brenham Veterinary Hospital in 2010. We wanted to extend our pet care reach, so in 2014, we opened Barking Ranch Pet Resort. RecommendedNewt loves this place! I’ve taken my dog to many kennels over the years, but I’ve never had him cry when leaving one, until Barking Ranch(he loves this place)! Newt is 126 pounds and can be VERY intimidating but he’s just a GIANT baby and the staff at Barking Ranch took incredible care of my big baby. I HIGHLY recommend this place! In fact I’ve turned my entire family on to this place (2 are traveling from Katy to board their dogs here)

My dog loves going to daycare and comes back home and is out for the night she has so much fun during the day. She also gets her baths and haircuts here and they always do a great job!!!!!
We love Barking Ranch Pet Resort. They take amazing care of our babies when we leave town. We never worry about them. We know they are having a great time and getting lots of love.

Awesome place to take your furry friend when you cant have them at home due to repairs or go on vacation! They did a wonderful job with my old dog and were priced very reasonable compared to others nearby! Friendly, caring staff and wonderful, fast service! Also very knowledgeable about things your pet needs to be comfortable there as if they were home!
In my opinion and experience, this is the ONLY place for a pet lover to leave their pet and KNOW they will be well cared for. Super nice people...Super nice facility. And another great benefit, if you are out of town and in the event your pet gets sick and needs medical attention, they are 50 steps or so to Brenham Veterinary Hospital for immediate care.
