RecommendedGreat experience with my surgery! (Gastric sleeve) Dr Sabbota (who is newer to the practice) was the best! I had read a lot of reviews about how the surgeons were fantastic but not very nice but Dr. Sabbota was great, he was kind, explained everything well and made me feel nothing but positive. I am currently beginning my journey and have already met with the coordinator Jenn. I did have 1 bad run in/rude moment with a nurse and I called Jen and she called me back and explained what to do and she said she would handle with the nurse.

The team is supportive and they give a lot of resources. With my connection to others across the country going through this journey, I have found time and time again that Highland's program is one of the most comprehensive and gives a TON of resources that a lot of other programs do not. The hospital staff after surgery when I was inpatient for 2 days is highly professional and also personable and care about the patients.
The entire team is extremely supportive!
Twice now my husband has been to their office for a post op follow up appointment only to have to leave without being seen. The first time was the nutritionist taking a patient ahead of him who came in after him even after the receptionist told her my husband was first. He takes time off of work unpaid for these appointments and can’t wait around forever. And today he waited 45 minutes to see a doctor only to be told the doctor had left for the day and didn’t get seen again! I get that you got your money from his surgery but... read more
