Fine dining experience Loved this restaurant. Located on a small lake, it is a wonderful place to hang out in the summer and drink martini's from ice blocks. In the winter is is just as breathtaking with a winter view. The food was amazing. The presentation of the kabobs on these ornate wrought iron plates was stunning. I must recommend the salmon, to die for.
Bardenay Restaurant & Dstllry is a fun place for dinner and drinks! I am a regular! I can't get enough of their food and love their cocktails. Great beer and wine selection. The service is always exceptional and the outdoor patio has beautiful flowers in the summer time!
Great upscale pub food Great food and great atmosphere Bardenay is always worth a visit. Take a tour of the distillery. Where else can you drink alcohol that was prepared on site. The salmon sandwich is delicious as is everything else on the menu. Situated right on the Basque block, Bardenay is a great choice any time of year.
Definitely not world class Went to Bardenay based on friend's recommendation and insiderpages review. Very disappointed!!!! Service was extremely SLOW. Steak arrived almost COLD and server only offered to comp a couple of drinks (like this happens all the time... would much rather had a hot steak! Drinks were good, but there are much better restaurants in Boise! PROS: Good drinks. CONS: Slow service. Cold food. Server doesn't really understand customer.
Great Salads They have a great variety of delicious salads. My favorite is the grilled shrimp salad. Service however is sometimes slow. Allowing smoking on the patio is annoying.
