This large and spacious white brick-walled restaurant is located in the meatpacking district of New York. With garage-style doors, cafe chairs, and an open kitchen, it has a very minimalist look but is comfortable nonetheless. Barbuto offers outdoor seating during Spring, so you can enjoy the open air while you munch away. The menu, which features regular Italian fare like pastas, antipasti and the like, changes everyday. Chef Jonathan Waxman is very particular about using the freshest of ingredients available.

So we came all the way from England to try Barbuto as I’ve followed you on Instagram for over a year, it was exactly as I’d imagined, amazing, food was put off this world, service was top and the vibe / atmosphere was chilled and relaxed - a NYC gem !
I love this restaurant; the food is fantastic and the atmosphere is wonderful. However, the kindness I experienced today from my waitress Sasha has gained the restaurant a loyal patron for life. WOWZA Absolutely amazing. I'm no expert. But I do have discerning taste. There was such a beautifully presented meal. Not to mention our waiter and now that I can't recall his name I feel horrid... I want to say Patrick. I digress. There was such a warm atmosphere and the window wrapped dining room provided an excellent view for those luls in conversation.
Get the Kale salad - will change your feelings on all things green.
