The Barac Co has some reasonably priced apartments in nice locations, but some of the properties of lack in care. The main office is very mom and pop, meaning they need some work on their customer service skills.
Honestly, I was hesitant to stay at one of their properties because of all the negative reviews I’d read. But it seems like things may have changed for the better (or they hired new people idk), because my experience was surprisingly positive. I don’t want to dismiss what others have gone through, but in my case the staff was responsive, repairs were handled quickly, and every time I called customer service they were not only helpful but genuinely kind. It felt like they cared, which made a big difference
Got a nice place through them or so I thought when I settled in the problems started roach infestation in the building poor plumbing leaks or water shut offs drunks in the hallway and sleeping in the grass a raccoon came in my ceiling in the bathroom and much more
It's the worst company I've ever lived with. With rude and unprofessional staff, an apartment with no hygiene standards, cockroach infestations, and zero concern for the tenants. Don't live here.
