Thanks to "Onnie" Andriana Shader, who was my nurse for hip replacement on May 23rd, my experience at St. Vincent's was great. Just a few memories but I certainly remember her attention to detail and her kindness. she was never short or dismissive of me or my needs and I left there knowing I had lucked out having Onnie for my nurse. Awesome staff every one has treated fantastic
This is for Cindy and Cody who work at the imaging x-ray . They went over and above the call of duty today to help in my situation . The girls in the admitting there were also so helpful and patient. I will always recommend anyone to use the imaging department there. Barbara Wayne
My husband had Knee Replacement Surgery last week and we were at St Vincent’s for a few days. I have spent a lot of time in hospitals over the years but this was a New Experience entirely! We were both treated so well and checked on so often I never had to ask for anything never even looked for a call button...didn’t need it. We fully understand under staffed! But it doesn't matter what time of day or night! It took a minimum of 20mins! To 45mins or more for the Nurse to put in appearance! And this has been going on since day one! We're now on day 3!! Also, housekeeping didn't replace any wash clothes, or towels! Awesome job folks! I'll give them two thumbs down!
This is the only hospital I will use in the Birmingham area. I had my daughter at this hospital and I had shoulder surgery here (less than 6 months ago). I have always gotten great care here. They seem to have the best of the best when it comes to their staff. I would recommend it to anyone.
