Tavern? Bar food? NOT! Perhaps the best seared scallops I've ever had. The spicy risotto rounded out the dish flawlessly. Others at our table had shrimp and grits as well as the salmon. No one was disappointed. We travel the country and the world and not sure when I'll be back in the area but am definitely looking forward to it!! The banana cream pie was also excellent. The service and attitude was right on par with the taste and quality of the food. Bravo!

On the recommendation of my Hampton Inn clerk Eric, I had dinner at Bannings last evening. A nice atmosphere where the patrons and staff were friendly. I had the 16 oz. Prime Rib which was awesome and the Brussel Sprouts with bacon were off the hook as well. A nice stop if you can.

I love this restaurant. It's my favorite in town. I can come in; practice my sketching; order great burgers, and talk to the staff. Everyone here is so friendly; and their burgers are by far the best I've ever had.
