Slipped in last Tuesday after the theater, my husband and I were served by the delightful Joanne, we shared the Grandma's Banning omelet, it was delicious! Service exceptional, quality of food great as always....way to go Mark Banning and staff!
Just lost me a as a customer after eating there for 30 years now. Went for breakfast this morning. They don't have the hamburger steak breakfast on the menu any more but told me they could make, never asked how much? Guess 2 eggs hash browns and toast cost $10.19 now?? Seem pretty steep but then a buck for for a thin hamburger patty. With coffee and a cheap$1.22 tip cost $15. for breakfast. They're not that good!!

Milton, we are so sorry that the server did not let you know ahead of time that we do not offer burgers with breakfast, and that it tends to be more expensive when you don't order off the menu. That is our job to let you know up front. Additionally our burger patties are high quality painted hills organic beef... we do charge more to cover that cost. Our customers mean the world to us. Called yesterday with a rather large group. It was the morning after of a family wedding. They were great in getting us accommodated. Not only did they get us taken care of but the breakfast was great.
Bannings is a regular stop for us. It is between a cafe and diner type place. Pie, we never leave without Pie! The food is great and prices are right on. Service is really good, they are always fun and caring of your needs. I love this place!!
It's been way too long, I can't wait to go back because the food and service is phenomenal!
