Every time I go in there are wonderful smiles and faces. It's a Tigard institution for good reason!
We went today after a matinee with a party of nine. It was mid afternoon when we got there, and they were not too crowded. With the large party, we got to see a good cross section of their menu, from breakfast items, to lunch items like sandwiches and burgers and main salads. Everything was fresh, well made, with good portions. The sirloin ministroni soup was particularly good. Understand this is coffee shop/diner type prep, but everyone in our party was happy with what they ordered. We will frequent this place more often.
The country fried steak is one of the best I have ever eaten, and I love the mashed Yukon gold potatos.
I love this place. Great portions and excellent service. I do miss an old server that used to work there. Her name was Quri. Best service I ever had.
Pretty sure that's the best chicken pot pie I've ever had! Yum! My husband loved his turkey avocado bacon on croissant with cole slaw too! And he's kinda picky. Good work, Bannings!
Great food and service. Hillary puts on a fresh pot of decaf coffee when she sees us walk in the door after choir rehearsal.
