The chicken fried steak was tough they replaced it with a frozen sausage patty that was so grisly I couldn't eat it
The food is delicious and the portions are filling. Staff is very pleasant and works as a team so if your server is busy someone else will help you. Desserts are to die for.

When you think of portland, relaxing breakfast or pie, great view. everyone from the bus boy /girl to cashier was nice. My regular spot since i moved here last month. My son loves it.
I absolutely LOVE bannings! My mom used to work here years ago and I fell In love with their chocolate 5 layer cake! It's to die for! Me and my boyfriend went in the other night at like 2 am and had dinner. Our food was amazing as always and the server was really nice. Their sweet potato fries are so good! Try them instead of regular fries! And don't forget the cake. Bannings might be a little more expensive than other places but you get what you pay for.
