they got some real morons working traffic control on US 17 between Dorchester Road and Cottageville. They had one lane stopped for 45 minutes. Inept.
IT SEEMS TO ME ALOT OF PEOPLE HAVE NEGATIVE COMMENTS IN PUTTING A GOOD COMPANY DOWN.YOU DONT SEEM TO REALIZE THESE MEN AND WOMEN GET UP EVERY DAY AND BUSTS THERE BUTTS TO PAVE A SAFE ROAD WAY FOR YOU TO TRAVEL SAFELY TO WHAT EVER DESTINATION YOU CHOOSE THINK ABOUT WHAT IF THEY DIDNT PAVE ROADS OR LAY PIPE YOU WOULDNT BE ABLE TO TRAVEL GIVE THEM THE REPECT THEY DESERVE!
I had one of their signs hit my vehicle back on Sep 2024, scratched my front end, and I’m still fighting with them to get $1k to repair the scratches. I was asked to get an estimate, I did that. I was asked to get a signed statement with witness as to what happened, I did that. I was asked for pictures, I sent that. I have made several calls to Mr Davis Banks and now he is no longer responding. I vent sent an email asking what else is needed at this point. And follow up emails to the claim. I rarely write reviews, but my experience with Banks Construction working on the 17A connecting Summerville to Walterboro has compelled me to share my frustration. This project is an absolute disgrace. The handling of traffic is a nightmare; it’s as if they have no regard for drivers trying to navigate the area. Detours are poorly marked, leading to confusion and frustration for everyone involved. The roads are perpetually filthy, covered with dirt and debris that go unaddressed.
