I love bank Newport. I use them for all my business & personal accounts. When I call about any issue or concern they are quick to fix it or help me through it. They focus on personal Service which is rare to find in a bank today.
After banking with them for more than a 10yrs they refused to make their wrong right when I had trouble with their mobile app. Their app error resulted in me being charged a fee. Because they couldn't "duplicate" the problem the branch manager in the North Tiverton location made no attempt to fix it. They love to flood the town with there charitable work but when it comes to customer service to their own customers they simply don't care!!
Myself and several other BankNewport members recently had over $500.00 fradulently stolen from our cards. I had to reach out to you regarding this method as did the other members. Why was there no alert email? Why has no one reached out to try to rectify the situation? My card was cancelled without my knowledge and no one took the time to reach out and notify me. Dave Radivonyk - Owner - Liquid Assets - Fine Wines and Spirits (Cranston, RI) - I opened several business and personal accounts over the past year and all I can say is "What a Great Bank!" Managers Joe Bell at the Quonset branch and Mark Capuano at the Cranston branch are outstanding professionals who each go above and beyond what is normally expected in providing CUSTOMER SERVICE! In addition, the personnel at both branches are fantastic. The bank offers great financial products which are competitively priced.
I love banknewport! Every other bank I've been with in the past I've had issues with. I use the branch closer to me but have even had to call to get information on my account and other branches were more then able to help me. Best bank by far
I have been trying for days to get in touch with e-banking service. I am on hold for 20 minutes at a time and eventually disconnected. I have 5 accounts both business and personal with Bank Newport. After this e-banking update fiasco, I will be moving all of my accounts to another bank that appreciates my business.
Really enjoy the new BankNewport Online Banking. The ability to categorize purchases made is really helpful. If it is possible I would suggest an enhancement to make it so you have a category that is neither a negative or a positive - like investments or external savings. On the books its an expense towards your account, but it isn't money that was actually spent. A third category would be nice.
