Horrible customer service. Slow processing times. They are clearly out to make a buck off of you and do not value servicing the customer. Outrageous fees resulting from poor transaction insight within their home banking portal. They are short on the phone, always seems like you're bothering them when you call. Terrible!

I have been a Bank Newport customer since 1969. My late husband, a dentist, had his business account with the bank, mortgages and personal checking accounts for both of us. Many dollars have gone through Bank Newport! I received notice that paper statements are going to cost $3 a month! I think that is improper. When I mentioned it at the Bank, they were all over me trying to sell me a different type of account. I miss the community spirit of the original Bank Newport.

Poor customer service. I had an issue with a payment posting late and was ostracized by the customer service rep. She laughed at me when "explaining" why there is a 15 day grace period. Treated me like I was an idiot. You will get my 72 dollars for the late fee but you will never earn my trust. If your calls are recorded I would review the call and learn some dos/don'ts of customer service.
