My experience with customer service at Bank of American has been incredibly negative. They have set up their systems so that the customer is charged fees with no recourse, and their representatives can only say "No, we can't help you." I requested bank statements, called the customer service office right away, was told that I would be refunded the mailing fee as soon as it posted to my account. I would give 0 stars if I could. Bank of America is terrible. My account was canceled for NO READON & my money is in the account and I have to wait 30 days until it is fully closed to get my funds. When I asked why my account was closed, I was told that "They can close it anytime they want , no matter what it was random never had anything other problems other than that. That is supposed to be a bank that I trusted with my money & they treated me like crap

Have so many problems with this bank. I'm closing my account and don't recommend this bank to anyone. First of all I'm dealing with fraud with this bank. My purse got stolen with my wallet. I called and closed my account right away and guess what a teller at a bank accepted a stolen ID and the person who stole my purse was able to cash a check under my closed account with my day for $1850! Then this bank put a hold for almost 2 weeks for a cashier check we deposited. Now their systems are down and I can't withdrawal money to... read more

BANK OF AMERICA.... YOU'RE FIRED !!!!! Just like any other BRAT... Bank of America abuses its customers... because it can. Please realize that ...THE...ONLY..... thing that will get their attention is opening up a bank account with a local bank or credit union, and then transferring all of your money out of BoA and then closing your BoA account(s). I opened an account with Jax Federal Credit Union and as soon as I have the automatic bill paying functions set up ..MY.....MY.... MY.... money will be removed from BoA access. ... read more

I simply tried to reorder checks for a checking account. B of A says I can do this 1 of 3 ways: on-line, a special phone # or go into a branch. 1) I logged into my account & followed the links, result: software won't allow me to do it on-line. 2) I called the # and the software has no record of my account and has NO OPERATOR to assist with problems 3) I go into the branch office, the line is 40 minutes long for the 1 counter person (who can't order checks), there are no personal bankers in the building (10 empty desks) and t... read more

I opened a checking and savings account a few years ago. BA also gave ** a credit card with $5*** limit. After a period of time they initiated an increase to $****. And then they initiated an increase to $*****. They offered ** zero percent interest for a year to transfer balances so I transferred $***** to by BA credit card. After a few months they cancelled ** card. When I called, they claimed ** balances are too high for that amount of credit. Are you kidding **. I just had to vent about a recent experience with Bank of America. I have a couple accounts with them and use primarily a credit, debit and checking account. I had the unfortunate experience of trying to order checks, something you would think is a simple process. First, I went online and spent 15 minutes filling everything out so as not to inconvenience them. I was charged for the checks, which have always been free for the past 30years. Hate them, been with them for 15 years, i go to gas station and ** atm card does not work, i check ** bank acct i have money, i call bank they tell ** they turned it off and unable to turn it back on, i have to wait a week, i walked 20 miles to get cash to put gas in ** car because of this bank, il never be with them again, after 15 years
