I have had nothing but good experiences with my dog at Banfield! I have been taking him ever since I brought him home at 8 weeks. He has gotten all of his shots and he was neutered here, and both have went very smoothly � Our vet explains things as she is doing them, and after each appointment she talks me through what will happen at our next appointment (like which shots are coming up, etc). Do not under any circumstances sign up for a pet wellness plan. We signed up for a wellness plan years ago and even though we owe nothing to Banfield pet Hospital for any services rendered they refuse to cancel our membership and continue to charge us monthly fees. This is still happening after numerous phone calls letters and emails requesting a simple cancellation as stated in writing on their website. I would love to thank Dr Muir and the Banfield team for the incredible support during my Winnie's spay. They kept me notified during the entire procedure. Winnie is doing great and doesnt seem to be in much pain. The incision looks great as well. Thank you guys for taking excellent care of my furbaby.
The only thing I gained from this experience was getting my new dog on heart worm prevention. The vet gave her four treats while she was there, without making sure it was okay. Then a few hours later when we got home our dog threw up the treats. Will not be returning.
Only giving the place 4 starts due to complete new staffing including veterinarian. We've been taking our sweet Leo since he was a puppy and went in for an exam and experienced a whole new staff. They're still great. Just would've appreciated a heads up!
