DO NOT LIVE HERE. A pipe ruptured above my unit, dumping water all over my apartment, bed, and belongings. I wasn’t compensated for the damage or time I had to spend living in a smaller model unit. Additionally, as other reviews have noted, the tap water is periodically putrid and sulfuric. I was told this issue had been resolved prior to my signing a lease, but this was blatantly false. I highly recommend to rent here. I’ve been renting a department for about 5 months and I have had great customer experience with Marcus Seay from the leasing office, not to mention the department is really centric.
Great spot. Students love it. Nice roof hang out and gym. Newer building. Close to metro. Walking distance to several eatery and historical places.
Living at Balsa Apartment has been a great experience, largely thanks to the exceptional staff. I love spending time on the rooftop in the weekend where I could study, training at the gym or just enjoy the sunshine. in addition, I want to give a huge shoutout to Marcus for his incredible enthusiasm and helpfulness.
