I cannot relate to the negative reviews of this place. I have been numerous times over the past couple of years and have not had to wait long at all and have had the best and most efficient care. Plus, they take my insurance.
What a joke. If you have an urgent situation, don't go to Ballston Urgent Care. I was there for over an hour before being seen by a 'doctor." I was then told that they couldn't give me any medication because they have no records on me. That's odd. I was told to go there in case of an urgent need, by my primary care physician's office at General Internal Medicine Group, who is affiliated with them. And you can bet I'll get a huge bill from them though they did nothing at all for me.
One star is generous for this incompetent organization that also overcharges, adds extra charges after the fact, and then hounds you for payment even after you've formally disputed the charges. I made the mistake of going there for a yellow fever vaccination, and made the further mistake of being talked into a TDAP vaccination after they looked at my vaccination records. Extremely disappointed! I have been waiting for four days now for a simple test result. I was told by the doctor that the result will come back in 2-3 days and that I would be called with such results. No call back thus far!!! I've called twice now only to be told there is no one that can give me the test result because they are too busy with other patients. To which I replied--I am alsoa patient!!! Great face service, good follow up, friendly, and reasonably fast even in busy flu season. Also the mascot looks like someone i know!
