RecommendedI had to take my mom in for a emergency appointment on April 15,2019. We were treated so wonderful by the staff. We were seen right away by Dr Jaffee. They were so caring in this very critical situation. Jamaal helped us on day one and Simone on day two. They had such wonderful bedside manners. My mom was in a panic, they all put her at ease. This Urgent Care Center is affiliated with my primary physician's medical practice (GIMG) so all transfer of information is seamless. Care has always been stellar and wait times practically non existent. Cannot recommend highly enough. As for some comments about billing, it's all about a person's insurance not the providers here.
Have never had a worse experience dealing with invoicing somewhere. I was given false information about my invoice when I called to address it months ago saying that the invoice was and error and didn't see a charge on their side but would take my secondary insurance to run it through just in case. Now have received a late notice and have been unable to get in touch with them after numerous attempts. Ballston Urgent care, unbeknownst to me, is affiliated with my primary care physician. Had an unexpected injury yesterday and needed attention quickly. Not life threatening, so the emergency room wasn't the answer. Was referred to Ballston Urgent Care and they were excellent. Filled out a couple short forms and was in an examination room within 5 minutes. On July 30th 2016 I made a visit to Ballston Urgent Care with symptoms of strep throat. I don’t actually live in Arlington, VA, I was in town for work as I live in Missouri. I was very ill, so my coworker was kind enough to locate this urgent care within a couple blocks of where we were staying and drove me there. Only two people were there and as soon as I filled out paperwork then I was seen. It was okay. It was adequate and I was grateful they did not give me antibiotics right away if I didn't need it since it was viral. They gave me a sample of the inhaled steroids to take which I was helpful because I was feeling too weak to go to the pharmacy. They had a beverage station with no cups or coffee or tea. Great care by their staff. I was taken in to a room in less than 5 minutes! Something not too likely in most urgent cares.
