If it wasn't for the Balboa Naval Medical Center & it's more than competent Medical staff performing an emergency Ostomy, our Son Gunny A.R. Taylor, he would not be alive today. Today Balboa Naval performed a Colon resection & we are grateful for all the expertise & professionalism & care for our son. This place maybe used to be good long time ago, but I have seen with my own eyes the crapy non caring job this place does. My dad went in to get his eyes rechecked and he needs new glasses one for far away and one for reading. They told him he had to choose because he couldn't have both. My 76 year old father who spent 20+ years serving this country caught the end of the Korean War and then went to Vietnam war can't have both of his glasses???
