I had a yearly visit with Dr. Gupta for yearly check up of my eyes. As always he had a smile on his face when he entered. I find him kind, compassionate, polite. He will examine your eyes thoroughly. I feel I am in excellent hands. Best doctor to see. The staff is well trained, friendly andkind.
Very good. I had concerns about a medication from my Dermatologist that was supposed to be applied on a spot that was close to my eye. He reassured me and took time to explain that it was not unusual & shouldn’t be a problem.

He really listens and I didn’t feel rushed. He picked up on things other doctors missed. I knew I was in excellent hands. Best doctor ever.
I had recently seen Dr Gupta a month or so ago. I ended up at urgent care for foreign object in my eye which they “removed”. I still felt like something was there but was told just irritation. But I called Dr Guptas office and hearing why I was calling he immediately made room for me to come in ASAP and sure enough there was still something in my eye which he removed and irritation was immediately gone. Dr. Gupta was so kind and understanding and had me laughing during my visit! Addressed and treated my issue with professionalism. He was great!
Was referred by my local ER department. Dr Gupta was willing to squeeze me in to his schedule the same day for a procedure; after which he offered some useful preventative steps I can take that were never discussed with my previous provider.
He is always available for unexpected eye problems which to me is most important. Dr Gupta is a very knowledgeable doctor and I highly recommend him. DuPage Optomology is the best eye doctor group I have ever gone to.
Can't recommend Dr. Gupta enough! He understands your issues, is very up to date and bonus he's a nice human being, too.
