From Seattle and locals here were more friendly than other local SD haunts (ie. The Loft!).
Betty's is my favorite spot for margaritas -- I'm clearly addicted to their frozen ones, just ask any of the bartenders. I'm also very fond of their Mexican food, especially their chile rellenos and burritos. For dessert it's always their delicious flan -- I take mine "naked."
