We've had Dr. Bailes as our Primary Care Doctor for over 20 years. He is EXTREMELY friendly, caring and knowledgeable. He takes his time with each patient (sometimes making a long wait in the waiting room for your turn) and if it's beyond what he can do will be sure to refer you to someone who can help.

Dr. Bailes has been our family doctor for over 30 years. He always takes time to ask questions and listens well to the answers. He never gives the impression that he has to rush through my appointment to get to the next one. I'm in excellent health, so I usually only see him for an annual wellness check, but he's taken great care of various health issues with my wife and three (now adult) kids. With his background as a DO, he thinks through more treatment options than an MD might. Highly recommended.

DR Bailes combines intelligence and compassion.. ..He listens and pays attention to what we say and we don't say. He is genuinely pleased to use the gifts he has been given to improve the health and lives of his patients (Certainly improved mine ) Quick with a genuine smile and an interest in our well being. He is what so many of us remember of our Doctors from long ago.. What so many of us have come to miss... Truly an exceptional person and Gifted Physician.

Dr. Bailes is the best physician I have ever had. He is knowledgeable, professional and extremely caring. He actually listens to the patient and cares deeply for them. He spends as much time with you as you need in order to ensure that you have shared all of your concerns and fully understands the treatments and medications that he prescribes. I wouldn't go anywhere else. There are some front office issues which should pull the score down a bit, however, I would gladly give up an extra hour of my time to be certain that my medical needs have been heard and understood, and that I was getting the very best of care.

Have been a patient of Dr. Bailes for 24 years and except for my old country doctor I had since I was a kid, until he retired, I never found a more caring doctor, and I had several before him. I worry that he will retire before I expire and I will have to find a new doctor. He is 5 stars in my book.

Excellent Dr. Douglas Bailes is always respectful and takes time with you every time you see him. He isn’t worried about cramming a bunch of patients into one day. When you’re in the room with him, he’s only concerned about your special case.

I like Dr. Bailes personally, and trust him. He runs a solitary practice, so sometimes access is hard. And he is a bit of a Luddite. No email--fax only. Phone answered Mon, Tue, Thur & half day Fri. And as others have noted, long waits at the office. This is because he takes as long as necessary to satisfy whomever he is seeing, and always runs over. He should schedule longer windows.
