Badcock & More Home Furniture (Sunrise Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL) is an excellent furniture store and more! I rate it best for customer service, cleanliness and quality. The entire staff that I interacted with was welcoming, personable, very polite, dependable and prompt. Don H (the assistant manager) and Ms Annie were extremely helpful, reasonable, and polite while helping me. They actually made my day. Overall I like concept of this business. However, at this location the employees can be very uncaring to the customers concerns. I purchased a t.v. and was told I had a 4 year warranty. Several months later my house was broken into and my t.v was vandalized. I was told because I paid off my account they were unable to help me and the warranty is no longer valid. I asked for store credit and the employee got very nasty with me. I felt cheated and disrespected.
So I do a application online to finance and I get a call that I am approved for 3k credit with them which is great. So I tell the lady I was interested in a dinner table and chairs and if she can check and see if it's at the location by my house she said she couldn't and that I can call the store to confirm. I was super excited when they said yes they have it I went in the rain just now and all picked the table I like to be told I can't finance the table because it's value is not 500 it's 300 and that's to low to finance so ... read more
This store/company is terrible. Please don't buy anything from this store. I bought a $1030 couch two years ago and the bonded leather is peeling terrible. This shouldn't happen in two years. I even bought the warranty and was told that it doesn't cover peeling! I guess they knew when I bought the warranty that their furniture doesn't uphold long.
