Parts department charged $46.75 S&h for a 17 oz. package of N-scale parts. Blamed the USPS! The following two parts order were back down to $6.74 each!
best thomas trains in america for all ages
33 to 49 dollars for a 10 dollar electric switch in n scale... 29 dollar Santa Fe high-baller train in n scale going for 129 to 159 on store shelves. Affordable model rail-roading days are over. It's become a hobby reserved for the rich. Bachmann used to be considered the low end cheap of the 70's, 80's era. Not anymore. They lost this customer. No way in a purple moon would I ever pay 20 dollars for an n scale box car made out of 3 cents worth of plastic out of some Chinese factory.
