We have been in the vehicle rental business for over 12 years, renting all types of vehicles, and now specializing in Vans. I will never again use this company. During a GLOBAL PANDEMIC, when both California and our state residence have shelter in place orders active, they will not refund our money for close to $900. We even had insurance. We had planned a huge family trip that can no longer happen and will never need a rental of that cost. RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Donât be fooled. This rental company has horrible customer service. Long waits and they will try to cheat you to keep your deposit of $200.
This is the WORST car rental company ever, they are rude, unprofessional, have poor people skills, and the LA Location Manager Kelvin, He is the worst person there, I canât understand how he got a Manager position, because a position in housekeeping is way tooo much for him. Much less as a Manager. If you ever have to deal with Kelvin directly be prepared to be hunged up on, screamed at, and a few other things. AVOID: Slow, Rude, Bait & Switch Scam AVR LA had a large van listed for a great price that we booked. When I got to the office, they wouldn't let me rent it unless I provided my car insurance information which I didn't pack with me, and it was 11:00pm at night which meant I probably couldn't track that information down. They told me they had a minivan for just a few more dollars a day. I said fine. I was slap with $300.00 on one day rental and for a bad customer service withe a close minded lady with lots of tattoos on the front desk Not renting with you again again. AVIS got us a van for same amount for a week.
Van were dirty , lots of dents on body and had smell.
The car was not good and the there was no one to address the issues I faced in car and the service.Had to wait for 2 hrs each to take and return my car.executives did not entertain customer queries

FAKE CLAIM!! The van I picked up the second time was not damaged by me. The van had the scratch, dent when I picked it up. It was the only one available at 11 PM, when I had to bring back the first van because it was overheating. What a SCAM to make up for the low rental fee. Best bait and switch scam in the rental business!!
